I have lost everything. . .   time and again . . .

I have found more. . .

I may miss the things that I have lost
Yet I do not miss the growth that has come from that loss.

The one thing that I do miss is the pure indomitable hope that all will be well. 

I have become a cynic and there are days that I wish otherwise, and yet I wouldn't be who I am today with out it.

That the love of my life comes home to me every evening.
My children to wake up to every morning.
There is no one else exactly like me.
And all the things I want to do or see.
